ATRS is pleased to present Dick Holdsworth as our most experienced Rail Safety Compliance Auditor. Dick has extensive experience in all areas of Rail Operations across Australia following a successful career with organisations such as the State Rail Authority of NSW, Freight Rail Corporation, and the NSW passenger train operator Countrylink.
Dick has wide ranging experience in providing strategic advice and assistance to organisations in the preparation of rail safety accreditation submissions, the development and implementation of safety management plans, and environmental management plans. In recent years Dick has directly assisted organisations such as Silverton Rail, Northern Rivers Railroad, South Spur, Blue Circle Southern Cement, and Lithgow State Mine Railway.
In addition to a very strong rail operational and train crewing background, Dick has extensive experience in developing, implementing and auditing Quality Management Systems to the AS9000 standard. Dick has assisted a number of organisations in achieving quality certification through the combination of his knowledge of the legislative and systems requirements, together with his practical “on the ground” application experience.
Dick is also experienced in the requirements for the maintenance and repair of locomotives and freight rolling stock having been a former director and shareholder in a private rail industry maintenance service provider. |
