Gary Moore - Senior Associate

ATRS is pleased to present Gary Moore as one of its most experienced rail operations and safety compliance auditors.  Gary has extensive experience in all areas of rail operations across Australia following a successful career with organisations such as the Victorian Government Railways, V/Line Passenger Corporation, V/Line Freight Corporation, Freight Victoria, Freight Australia, and Pacific National Pty Ltd.

 

Gary has specialist competence in train control management having been the manager of the Victorian country and regional train control centre following a successful career as a train controller responsible for all associated train control systems.

 

Gary is also experienced in freight terminal and depot management and in providing strategic advice and assistance to organisations in the preparation of rail safety accreditation submissions, and the development and implementation of rail safety management plans.

 

In addition to a very strong rail operational background, Gary has extensive experience in developing, implementing and auditing rail safety management systems to the AS-4292 and rail safety regulator standards.

 

Gary’s competency based rail industry qualifications include network rules and safeworking systems, major incident site management, rail accident investigator, and lead auditor in OH&S management systems.

 

Gary’s experience and expertise is ideal for clients in need of a senior “hands on” practitioner in rail operations, investigation and compliance audit.
